Restoration of Jacob

18 “This is what the Lord says:
‘Behold, I will ^arestore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob
And ^bhave compassion on his dwellings;
And the ^ccity will be rebuilt on its ruins,
And the ^dpalace will stand on its rightful place.
19 ‘From them will come a ^esong of thanksgiving
And the voices of those who ^{▼▼Or dance
,} ^gcelebrate;
And I will ^hmultiply them and they will not decrease;
I will ⁱhonor them and they will not be insignificant.
20 ‘ ^{▼▼Lit His}Their children also will be as before,
And ^{▼▼Lit his}their congregation will be ^lestablished before Me;
And I will punish all ^{▼▼Lit his}their oppressors.
21 ‘ ^{▼▼Lit his}Their ^oleader shall be one of them,
And ^{▼▼Lit his}their ruler will come out from ^{▼▼Lit his}their midst;
And I will ^rbring him near and he shall approach Me;
For ^{▼▼Lit who is he that gives his heart in pledge}who would dare to risk his life to ^tapproach Me?’ declares the Lord.
22 ‘You shall be ^uMy people,
And I will be your God.’”
